NCCMT Receives Multi-Million Dollars in Funding

The School of Nursing congratulates Dr. Donna Ciliska and her team at the National Collaborating Centre for Methods and Tools (NCCMT) for being awarded another five years of funding ($7.5m) by the Public Health Agency of Canada.

The funding renewal is recognition of the important work the NCCMT is undertaking to support the use of evidence to inform public health practice and policy in Canada in order to improve our public health system and, ultimately, the health of all Canadians.

Dr. Ciliska, a professor in McMaster’s School of Nursing, is the scientific director of the NCCMT. She is recognized as an authority in the field of knowledge translation in public health.
