Gloria Bott, winner of a 2007 MSU Teaching Award, joined the School of Nursing as a part-time faculty member in2005 and teaches in Level 1 PBL. Since 2004, Gloria has also been a part-time Case Manager in Palliative Care with the Waterloo Wellington Community Care Access Centre in Guelph, Ontario. She completed her Master of Science at McMaster in December 2006.
Student evaluations for Gloria reflect the reasons she was acknowledged by her students through a nomination for an MSU Teaching Award. Her enthusiasm for nursing, teaching and Level 1; her genuine concern for learners; her approachability; and her ability to provide feedback to promote critical thinking all support Gloria's nomination for this very important award.
The School of Nursing congratulates and thanks Gloria for contributing in such a way to student education as to warrant this highest honour from them.
